Ja na Royalu 2 godine,mislia sam ici na offshore ,za bolju lovu,ali kakva je sad situacije
dobar je Royal brale.....
Firme propadaju,cujem da bas nije bajno na NCL-u....
Ne znam,prosle godine je puno ljudi islo ca vamo tamo,ali sad se niko ne mice
dobro je samo da ne bude gore

Na Royalu je dobro kada si First Officer,gvardija na mostu 8h u komadu i to je prakticki sve sto se tice posla...i za doci na tu poziciju dovoljno je imati licencu 2 nd officera...

Da NCL je trenutno u losoj financijskoj sitaciji i prva kriza u kruz industriji prognozira da ce NCL pa-pa...

Onaj ko ti je to reka se vara sine jer NCL gradi project F. Je da od 3 komada grade 1 ali NCL i ljudi na njemu su sigurni.
 
Pa nebi rekao da se ljudi bas varaju jer to ne prica jedna osoba vec puno ljudi...a i internet je put toga...Problem NCL-a je sto si imali brodove na USA zastavi sto im je posisalo lovu,a sada imaju cini mi se jos samo jedan...

Pa i ja mislim da su ljudi sigurni,ali ako se NCL ne izvuce iz krize kupiti ce ih neka druga veca i jaca firma koja nemora biti iz kruz industrije...pa vjerovatno znas i sam da su primili oko 1 bil. $ od firme koja ima veliki udio dionica i to isto nije pomoglo da se vrati na staro...

Kile Apollo je kupia za tu svotu 51% NCl-a a ujedno NCLA je imao 3 broda od cega su dva vec pod NCL dosla ( bia san na jednome) a jos je ostao jedan isto koji ce prici pod NCl.( Cak su i Ameri koji su tili ostat ostali za place iste kao i mi Evropljani) NCL se nece prodati vise nego se samo rasprodaju stari brodi tj karanpane. Sa se tice cooparacija tipa RCCL ili CArnival oni ako i kupu bice to dobar potez ali cisto sumljam. Mislim da ce NCL cim dobije i zadnji brod od NCLA se uzdignuti na stare slave. Godinama san na NCL-u i znan situaciju poprilicno dobro
 
Tocno Dalmos...sve sto si rekao je tako...iskreno nisam znao za to do prije nekih 2 mjeseca...
Moje je misljenje da ce NCL doci na ono sto je bio...a i meni je u planu probati tamo :)

ma karnival je ja mislim super za mlade pomorce,ne trazi se nista extra a opet drze te ako valjas,istina da rojal ima lipse brodove a sto ti to vridi kad niko od njih posade se ne zadrzava puno na guest area,a ja u cetri nakon gvardije u tuti na lidu jeden hamburger sa gostima

rikmers E.R. jeli ostalo sto tamo hrvata i jesu se sto digle place,ja san otisa od tamo jos kad su sugavi poljaci poceli dolazit

ja mislim da je na rojala placa u dolarima oni trecega nemaju nego mazace filipince pozicije krecu od 2 nd eng koji ima 5000 dolara permanent,ugovor 2 2

tek sam sad na netu,kako sam dosao ovde,5 godina na kontejnerima,2 i po na Carnivala
Aplicira sam vise puta ovde direktno,nista,onda se jednom vratia sa Carnivala doma,aplicira i u roku od 10 dana dosao ovde,bez ikakve stele.
Trebas direktno slati C/V na RArocha@rccl com ,mada je sada tesko upast,jer dolar je opet ok i niko bas ne daje otkaze,meni je pomoglo iskustvo sa Carnivala,ali i malo srece da sam se javia u tren kad im je trebao Elektricar.Ok je ovde,sta se tice prica da se na Carnivalu uziva,a ovde samo radi,ma ima malo istine,ali nije to sve crno bilo,ovde znas unaprid godinu dana kad si doma ,kad si na brodu,radi se prilicno,ali ali nista to nije strasno,svugdi se radi,nema se bas puno vrimena za vani,ali ugovor je 10 sedmica
a para je dobra,ne bi o tome...Ja sam bia na Carnivala i ne bi tamo nikad vise,svako ide di mu je bolje...Onda ne triba se bojat,i ja sam poceo na Jadnoplova,najgora firma di sam bia,katastrofa totalna,bilo je kasnjenja para,zakidalo se posadu na hrani ,medjuljudski odnosi nisu bas bili na visini.Nigdi nije savrseno,ovde je cisti profesionalizam,odradis svoje,i to je to,Sta se tice price o setnji u Guest Area,mislim na komentar kolege sa Carnivala,i ovde se mozes setat cile dane ,ako si obucen prikladno,ali nema se vrimena
za pizdarije.
I onda svaka cast Talijanima,ovde ih bas nema,ima Norvezana,Sveda,Amera,Engleza,Poljaka,nesto malo Bugara,multi posada,nasih ima dosta
a sta se tice tehnicke razine ,mislim da je Royal No:1 u cruise industriji,mada je Carnival najbogatiji,za posadu isto mismim da je Royal i NCL najbolje cruise kompanije za radit ka Oficir

Ja na Royala znan puno ljudi jer san i ja u toj bransi. Dosta je striktno i ko je proba Princess a pogotovo Carnival uvik zali za njima. Stvar je u tome sta na Royala kao i na NCL-a (koji je jos rigorozniji) ugovori su mali i koliko si doma toliko i na brodu a to je 10-10 tjedana. Dok na Carnivala i Princezama je 4-2 miseca ali razlika najveca je sta na Princezama i pogotovo Carnivalu je zivot sto na sat. Od zena, pica, izlaska i rada koji je dosta manji . Tj zivot kao zivot je neizmjerno puta bolji na CCL i PCL nego na RCCL ili NCL. Stoga ko je covik od posla i profesionalnosti i dosa je samo radi zarade taj je za NCL ili RCCL a ko se voli i provest i uzivat malo ( citaj puno) taj je za CCL ili PCL. I stoga mislin da ces se ti zbog toga vratit na CCL. Dok san ja bija na PCL i sad san na NCL ali ja posao drzim jedinim prioritetom i ugovor mi je dobar da me zena i dica pamte pa zato ja glas dajem za RCCL naprotiv CCL. :)

prika nemoj me krivo svatit,ali ko je reka da se na karnivala sve svodi na cugu,zenske,izlazaka,na karnivala radi dosta strucnih ljudi kojima je stalo do promocije,a ako mislis napredovat onda triba i radit to ovisi o pojedincu,jer ima nasih ljudi koji su relativno jako brzo napravili karijeru na karnivalu,,uzmimo u obzirda su brodovi relativno jeftino gradeni pa ima sigurno vise posla nego na rojala kojemu su makine puno kvalitetnije,ali isto tako moram spomenut da na karnivala sigurno nema kamera u kontrol rumu,da te kapo stalno gleda ili recimo otisa ja kod frenda na rojal pa me provea kroz lido sekundarno da ga nebi neko vidia,ajte ljudi i na tim se brodovima pije samo ne u kru baru nego po kabinama,stvar je u tome da i na NCL I na RCCL svi mogu otic u gest areu,ali vecinu je strah da ih neko nebi vidia,ako je tako radit da imas prava a nemores ih koristit onda je bolje otic na plinasa pa bi imali bar vise novaca,ne zaboravimo da karnival ne grca u dugovima jer su im brodovi svi placeni u gotovini dok sve druge kompanije lagano grcaju jer su im brodovi napravljeni na kredit znaci jos jedan plus ima carnival,a to je sigurnost,eto da nekoga probodes nozem pa mozda dobijes otkaz

ovde odma 2nd El. Eng i placa ko u tvog sefa na Carnivala,ugovor 10on/10 off

Sve najbolje,bio sam na Conquestu,Destinyu,Glory-u
nije ni Carnival ko prije,svugdi se vise radi a manje zaj....
A radit nikad nije bilo problem,samo sta dobijas za to

Evo da i ja dodam ovdje par informacija iz prve (NCL), a i iz druge ruke(RCCL).
Na RCCL-u place za Elektricare idu 10 za misec na brodu za Elect. Eng. ; 11 za 1st Elect Eng.; i 13 (plus bonus) za Ch. Elect Eng. U kilodolarima naravno.
Na NCL place za prve dvi razine su manje (malo tko ima toliko senioritija da ovo nadoknadi) a za CH. Electa su na NCL vece (barem vecini sa cca 3 god senioritija).
Dalmos je u pravu u vezi NCL-a, trenutno NCL zaradjuje vise nego ikad ali koriste situaciju pa su zamrzli place svima na razinu koju su zatekli 01.02. 2009-te.
A Filipincima su ukinili svaki overtime (opet koriste situaciju) i to nam svima stvara dosta problema.
Problem sa brodovima na Americkoj zastavi je sada vec proslost.
Dobro je sto nam je bonus ipak odobren (sto je dokaz da love ipak ima), sad zavisi koliki ce bit.
Elektricarima je bitno da na NCL i Automation Eng. ima bonus, dok na RCCL 1st Elect Eng. nema.

World's cruise industry sailing rough waters
The cruise ship season in Sydney is in full swing and it's booming, with ships forced to anchor in the middle of Sydney
Harbour due to a lack of dock space. But despite the onboard party atmosphere and the postcard image of luxury
liner passengers waving to ferry commuters from ship rails, the world's cruise industry is sailing through rough
financial seas as the global downturn bites into tourism.
Cruise operators are desperately trying to attract passengers for 2009, slashing prices, offering last-minute deals, twofor-
one pricing, shorter cruises, family packages in which children sail free, and home port cruising which avoids the
cost of an airfare to reach an exotic departure port. Norwegian Cruise Line last month announced "BookSafe" which
will give passengers a full cash reimbursement if they cancel their cruise because of job loss. U.S. cruise retailers
CruiseOne and Cruises Inc have introduced "CruiseAssurance" to cover passengers in the event of them being sacked.
"What's changed is that cruise lines have offered ferociously discounted fares," Carolyn Spencer-Brown, editor-in-chief
of UK online Cruise Critic, told Reuters.
"2009 is looking like the biggest buyer's market ever with absolute cheapest fares seen in a long, long time," she said.
So far bookings for 2009 are holding, but Cruise Critic warns some cruise operators may gain 90 percent occupancy
rates this year but still lose money due to cheaper pricing and conservative spending by passengers.
"There's been no significant downturn for big ship cruise lines. They're dropping prices as low as necessary to fill ships
and then are hoping that passengers, in the holiday spirit, will feel moved to spend on onboard extras," said Spencer-
Brown.
Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd, the world's second largest cruise operator, has already reported a profit collapse in the
fourth quarter of 2008 and expects 2009 revenue to be weak as it offers discounts to lure passengers. Royal Caribbean
in January reported fourth quarter profit of $1.5 million, down sharply from $70.8 million in the same quarter the year
before . The Miami-based company stopped paying its dividend last November as it looked to save cash, following a
similar move by its main rival Carnival Corp & Plc.
Carnival Corp, the world's largest cruise ship operator, managed to beat expectations in posting a 3.6 percent rise in
net income in the fourth quarter 2008, based on higher room rates, cost cutting and offsetting fuel costs. The
company said its net income in the quarter was $371 million compared with $358 million a year earlier. But the fourth
quarter profit included $31 million on the sale of the Queen Elizabeth 2 and a rapid decline in fuel costs. Carnival
says 2009 is going to be a tough year. It will report its first quarter results this month.
The cruise industry has seen unprecedented growth in recent decades thanks to soaring popularity in North America
and Europe, the two main markets, and emerging cruise ship markets in Asia and Latin America. Since 1980 the
average annualised growth of North America has been 7.4 percent and annual passenger volume has risen 79 percent
in the past eight years. An estimated 13.2 million people took a North American cruise in 2008. The Cruise Lines
International Association (CLIA), North America's largest cruise industry body, estimates 2009 will see only a 5 percent
rise in passengers to about 13.35 million. "The cruise industry is optimistic that it will weather the current economic
conditions and continue to grow," said CLIA's Executive Vice President, Marketing & Distribution, Robert Sharak.
"Overall bookings are holding. The primary trend cruise lines are seeing is a late booking pattern. Consumers are
waiting until the last minute to decide to travel," said Sharak.
Cheaper prices and incentives have seen some cruise operators post record bookings so far in 2009, he said. Carnival
recorded the highest weekly bookings in its history in the first week of March and net bookings since January are up
10 percent compared with the same period in 2008. Carnival said in December that bookings for 2009 were running
behind the prior year. It said it expects net revenue yields to fall 6 percent to 10 percent in 2009. "Growth has been in
the 8 to 12 percent, year-on-year, but nobody believes that we'll see that maintained this year. The new normal is thatToday, the 14-day cruise from Venice to Istanbul has not sold out and the current price for the cruise listed at
seabourn.com starts at Euro 8,523, a 10 percent discount on the brochure fare. "Right now it's fashionable to be
thrifty. That won't last," said Spencer-Brown, who agrees with the CLIA that luxury cruises will bounce back, possibly
as soon as 2010. Credit Suisse upgraded Carnival Corp and Royal Caribbean Cruises to "outperform" from "neutral"
last month, saying the companies will outperform helped by solid demand in the North American and European
markets. However, Goldman Sachs maintains its "sell" rating on both cruise operators and says it expects further net
yield deterioration as travel indicators continue to show weakness.
"The coming year will see continued diversification and global expansion of cruise operations, said the CLIA's 2009
outlook, citing the Caribbean, Alaska and Europe as strong markets and growth in Asia, the Indian Ocean and Middle
East. The North America market is reaching maturity, but cruise operators still see growth in "home port cruising" in
2009, which first became popular after 9-11 when people did not want to fly. CLIA members are offering more than 30
domestic ports in 2009. Family cruising is also one of the fastest growth sectors, due to its "value-for-money" appeal,
and has helped drop the average age of a cruise passenger to 46, said the CLIA. Meanwhile, smaller, newer markets
in the UK and Ireland, Europe, Asia and the Middle East are also offering prospects for growth during tough economic
times. "Europe looks today as the American market looked 15 years ago in terms of cruise interest and potential," said
Sharak.
Executives attending the Seatrade Cruise Shipping conference in Miami this week said yearly cruise penetration, even
in significant markets such as Britain and Germany, was much lower than the 3.5 percent penetration in North
America. There could be an additional 2 million cruise passengers a year in the UK and Germany if penetration rates
rose, they said.
A 2008 survey by CLIA found 34 million Americans plan to take a cruise in the next three years The CLIA fleet will see
14 new ships at a cost of $4.8 billion, ranging in carrying capacity from 82 to 5,400 passengers, set sail in 2009 to
meet this expected growth in demand. A further 21 new cruise ships, at a cost of $14 billion, are scheduled to enter
the North American market between 2010 and 2012. "The cruise ship order book is placed through 2012. Beyond that,
the lines will assess the economic environment and their particular situation with regard to new orders," said Sharak.
"The industry remains committed to long-term growth."

Zamrzavanje do daljnjeg, ne zna se do kada. Dobro je da ne krenu sa smanjivanjem.
To za 6 mjesec prvi put čujem, vjerojatno dezinformacija....
Sta vas jos muče temperature na GOP "thrust bearing - cap side" ili tako nešto ??? Prošla je već godina otkad sam ja napustio taj brod, pa se ne sjećam više.
 
@ Morski Vuk : Ma jucer mi je samo od aux.transformatora temperatura na od windinga "V" otisla na 170 stupnjeva a na GOP-u je o.k. sve. A cuj,svako malo polude temperature na GOP-u ali interesantno je da se to stalno sa desnim Pod-om dogadja,na lijevom mi je do sad samo jednom bilo.ali to je vec klasika,plugovi na ZMC-ima,nista drugo....

@ Foranin : To ti meni moj dragi panamez,on mene voli buditi u tu dobu,ha,ha.....
