2nd Officer needed for busy, private motor yacht. This suit an existing 2nd Mate from a 50-60m who would like to move up to a larger yacht. Must have experience working with ISM, and passage planning, chart corrections and managing a large chart folio. · Seafarer medical

· STCW95 Basic safety training

· Security awareness training

· Passenger Safety Certificate

· Qualification for High Voltage safety

· III/2 Chief or 2nd Engineer Unlimited Certificate

EXPERIENCE


Candidate Profile

· Previous experience +3 years in similar position on Passenger/cruise ships or 100m+ Yacht experience.

· Senior Officer with team managing capabilities Prefer Yard Experience (dry docking, refit or new build)

· Class/Flag Surveys experience on Passenger Ships



Experience in following (operating, maintaining, troubleshooting)

· ABB Diesel Electric Propulsion with Azipods

· High Voltage power generation and distribution preferable

· Diesel engines (CAT)

· Engine Room Monitoring System (CAM)

· All Engine Room Systems, machinery and auxiliaries including deck systems, (Hydraulics, HVAC, refrigeration…)

· Maintenance Software, IDEA preferably



NOTES


· YARD CONTRACT (+/- 6 months), possibility to move into a Seagoing contract once the yacht becomes operational.

· Single Shore side accommodation & transportation to and from the Yacht provided.

· Food allowance per day provided until onboard Galley becomes operational.

· Reports to Chief Engineer

Nadam se da imaš navigacije,brevete i što sada manje više svi traže security awareness kao "must have".

U principu kao ETO radiÅ¡ sve na jahtama Å¡to se tiče struje, audio-video sustavi, navigacijski uređaji, rasvjeta, kompjuteri, internet, satelitski sistemi itd...

ETO na jahtama se najviÅ¡e traže na jahtama od 80+ m jer nije isključivo da ih ima i na manjima, ali u tom slučaju sekondo je zadužen za te stvari.

Najbolje je pucati na Super jathe od 100+ m, a plaće ti se kreću oko 5000 € pa na viÅ¡e..

ImaÅ¡ pun kufer agencija za jahte pa se registriraj, ispuni formu na njihovom sajtu i apliciraj za poslove... među boljima su ti ( peter insull, camper & nichollsons, luxury yacht group, edminston, hill robinson itd..)

imaš i dosta site-ova koji daju oglase za jahte i možeš tamo direktno aplicirat.

Sve u svemu za ETO i strojare ima posla na jahtama uvijek jer su više traženi.

eto nadam se da sam pomogao :)
 
This position is to start at the beginning of October and candidates must have their Y2 ticket. The position is as 2nd Engineer and then Chief Engineer when the Chief is on leave. Rotation is 3 month on and then 1.5 months on leave. Med and Caribbean seasons. 3-4 years experience in a similar position is required. Salary is 6000€ x 12. Charter experience would be preferable

Traži se kapetan jahte na 40 m , MY Indigo Star, zastava Lux., u Porto Montenegro, potrebno minimalno zapovjednik broda do 500 BRT-a STCW, nikakav yachtmaster B. Najbolje doći osobno, ex. kapetan je iz HR.

DECKHAND WANTED
We are looking for a deck hand to join our team. We are after someone hard working with a good sense of humour, we are not your typical white boat so enjoy someone with a little bit of character to add to comical team. Somebody who is able to work and play in a team environment is a must as well as being sensible enough to be trusted alone. The captain likes to keep crew (as long as they fit in) so we are not after somebody who is just after a temporary job.
We are currently in Genoa, Italy and will be leaving possibly as soon as next week heading towards Puerto Rico and hopefully stopping along the way. Filling this position before we depart would be ideal.
There are 12 permanent crew and 14 when the guests are on board with the helicopter. Due to owners requests we are an all-male crew. Boat is used only by our 3 owners who are very active and into many sports including spearfishing, diving, cycling and tennis to name a few. As mentioned above we are a little different and generally do not follow the “normal milk run”.
You will need…

It would be beneficial if you have;
Sporting interests/ experience in above fields but not limited too.
A trade of some sort before they joined boats (electrical, carpenter etc)
Tender driving experience (Jet, stern leg and outboard)

We currently have a requirement for an experienced Chief Engineer to join a 80m+ Motor yacht in the Middle East towards the end of the month.



This is a permanent contract with a 3 month probationary period.



The ideal candidate will have a Chief Engineer's Unlimited CoC or a Y1, along with a minimum of 6 years' sea service, 3 of which must be as Chief.



Electrical / electronic work experience is desirable.



You will be responsible for the Engine department.



Wages start at 9000EUR depending on experience and qualifications. 48 days paid annual leave and 2 return flights paid.
