Applicants will also need to have at least 1 years experience on cruise/passenger vessels or large Yachts since qualifying.

Male applicants only due to shared cabin arrangements.

Salary will be paid in Euros.

Maintenance Technician, Isle of Wight

MHI Vestas Offshore Wind is looking for a Maintenance Technician with experience of working safely in a 24 hour manufacturing environment. Ideally you will have experience working with electrical and mechanical machinery, power tools and lifting equipment. We operate 3 shifts covering 24 hours 5 days per week. You will have the opportunity to develop a career in a global group with a very exciting industry and record breaking product.

Responsibilities and tasks

The Maintenance Technicians work in shifts in small teams, maintaining all the production tools and equipment

The manufacturing processes involve the use of epoxy based resin and hardeners, therefore this position may not be suitable for persons who have previously had a recorded reaction to such products.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Maintaining electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical equipment and hand tools.
Maintain calibration/measurement equipment and systems.
Interrogation of PLC controllers and systems.
Administer the maintenance systems, with planned maintenance activities as well as responding to breakdowns.
Keeping the work area safe and clean, making use of 5S methodology.
Contribute to supplier evaluation.

Qualifications and work experience

The ideal candidate should have proven experience of equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment. Formal qualifications (HND/HNC/City & Guilds) would be an advantage, but are not a requirement.

Electrical qualifications would be of particular interest.
The ability to work in shifts is essential.

Kasnije san se čuja s njin, da mu triba oficira za neki high speed brod od NMDC-a, neÅ¡to tako, da je brod priko sto metri, oko 6-7 iljada tona,
i da se radi u perzijskom gulfu, bla bla, uglavnom reka san mu da nisan zainteresiran, ali da me zva prije godinu dana možda bi i prihvati. Kaže da je ugovor 6 tjedana on/off, a koliko znan NMDC ima solidne plaće, pa eto zovnite u Ingaland ko je zainteresiran.

P.S. NMDC je inače dredging company, a ko je ovi Petroplan neman pojma, nikad prije čuja za njih.
