Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year sea time in rank.

Duties and Responsibilities

Including but not limited to;
  • To assist Chief Purser in ensuring that all service and operational processes are delivered to the highest level.
  • Assist with the financial performance for crew and in the efficient weekly planning and rostering of all staff.
  • Assist with stock management and cash control.
  • Stock and cash control – ensure procedures and policies are adhered to at all times. Ensure daily and weekly stock counts are completed and recorded accurately.
  • Implementation and strict management of cleaning schedule.
  • Ensure highest level of customer services in line with company policies & procedures
  • Lead, motivate and inspire members of the OBS team.
  • Ensure highest level of communication on all relevant and current issues.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance and direction for the OBS team and identify and manage training requirements.
  • To deputise for the Chief Purser in his/her absence e.g. night shift or when Chief Purser is off duty.
Certification Requirements:

In order to apply you must hold:
  • Passenger Safety Training
  • Crowd Management
  • STCW Elementary First Aid
  • STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting

The FSO Ailsa is deployed at the Culzean High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) field approximately 145 mile (233 kilometres) off the coast of Aberdeen in a water depth of 295 feet (90 meters).

Designed for 25 years of continuous operations without dry-docking, the FSO has a capacity to receive 25,000 barrels of condensate per day and a storage capacity of 430,000 barrels. The FSO has been delivered in June 2018, and is anticipated to start its operations in the second quarter of 2019.

MDE / TEPUK ARE RECRUITING FOR:
  • Senior Operator on the FSO Ailsa.
Desirable candidates will possess an STCW95 OOW unlimited Certificate of Competency with Oil DCE or N/SVQ Processing Operations Hydrocarbons (Level 3) or equivalent accompanied by relevant experience in an FSO / FPSO marine control room.
Experience of North Sea offshore production operations as a CRO - minimum 5 years - with knowledge of associated technical standards, processes and relevant legislation - HP/HT experience is advantageous but not essential.

The position is on a permanent basis and on a working rotation of 3x3x3x4.
