I wanted to check if you were still available for work? I’ve got a requirement for an Assistant Electrician onboard the Maersk Valiant, Drillship, in Aruba. This would be to fly out and start quarantine on 12[SUP]th[/SUP] February for a 6 week trip (1 week in quarantine and 5 weeks onboard). Although the rig is currently in Aruba, it has plans to sail to Suriname at the beginning of March.
At the moment, we do not currently have a day rate for this position, but what would your expected day rate be in USD? This would be paid in gross, so you’d be responsible for your own taxes and quarantine rate would be paid at an 8-hour day rate (2/3s of your day rate).
